Cancer Care

Clinton Hospital offers a variety of diagnostic services for the detection of cancer in a convenient, community-based location. Services available at the hospital include mammography, endoscopy, cystoscopy and diagnostic imaging, such as CT (computed tomography) scanning.

Medical studies have shown that regular health screenings, such as annual mammograms for women over the age of 40 and endoscopies for the detection of colorectal cancers, are key to the early detection of cancers and successful treatments.

Surgeons at Clinton Hospital also provide limited inpatient and one-day surgical treatments for different types of cancers, including:

  • Breast
  • Gastrointestinal
  • Genitourinary
  • Skin cancer

As a member of UMass Memorial Health Care, Clinton Hospital patients have convenient access to the Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center in Leominster and to the UMass Memorial Cancer Center in Worcester.
