The UMass Memorial Medical Center - Child Passenger Safety Program educates parents and caregivers on the proper use of a car seat as well as the use of seatbelts and avoidance of driving distractions.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians are available twice monthly, by appointment, to inspect car seats and their fit and to teach families about how to install car seats properly. To schedule an appointment for a free car seat check by a certified technician, please email carseats@umassmemorial.org.
