Patient and Family Advisory Council

Your opinion matters to us, and we want to create the best hospital experience we can for you.

Our Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFAC) are an extension of this effort. They allow us to hear directly from patients and family members about the care they have received through HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital.

Join Our Patient and Family Advisory Council

We invite you to join our Patient and Family Advisory Council.

In 2018 we merged our Patient and Family Advisory Councils therefore creating one under HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital. Currently the Patient and Family Advisory Council meets virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Patients and family members comprise two-thirds of the PFAC, while hospital staff makes up the balance of the committee.

Patients and family members play an important role by participating in various hospital activities, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Are comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas in a small group setting
  • Attending specific hospital committees
  • Making recommendations for improvement
  • Participating in educational sessions for clinical and nonclinical staff
  • Providing feedback on services received and suggesting new services
  • Attend one meeting per month at the hospital to discuss opportunities for improvement
  • Are at least 18 years of age and have past or current experience with Clinton Campus as a patient or family member of a patient
