Pediatric Hospital Medicine

The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Program offers the comfort of knowing that highly qualified, board-certified pediatric caregivers provide 24-hour care for children in the hospital. The pediatric hospitalist takes primary responsibility for inpatient care working closely with the referring physician.

Services We Provide

Our pediatric hospitalists are available to treat clinical conditions as they arise and provide ongoing testing and monitoring as needed. They provide consultation to the emergency room, maternity and other departments as needed.

Our pediatric hospitalists provide family-centered care and coordinate the care of your child with their pediatrician, keeping him or her informed of the child's condition, progress, and plan for discharge. Should your child need to be moved to another facility, our caregivers will discuss this with you and coordinate with nursing and case management to transition your child.

In partnership with the UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center, the Pediatric Hospitalist Program at HealthAlliance Hospital, located on our Leominster Campus, coordinates and provides the best care for your child and family.
