Emergency psychiatric services are provided on a 24-hour basis in our Emergency Department. Early intervention in a crisis can lead to better recovery and growth.
Our qualified clinicians consult with an on-call psychiatrist in order to provide high-quality emergency services for challenges related to psychiatric, behavioral health and mental health.
Specific services include:
- Intervention for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence
- Assistance to friends and family of medical trauma patients

Partial Hospital Program at Marlborough Hospital
Our Partial Hospital Program provides a structured and supportive environment for individuals who are transitioning from inpatient psychiatry. The program also provides services for individuals who are currently in an outpatient program but may temporarily require a higher level of care.
Inpatient Programs at Marlborough Hospital
The hospital’s 22-bed unit provides short-term stabilization for individuals who are at risk. The emphasis is on rapid assessment and individualized treatment planning utilizing each patient’s strengths and social support network.
