How You Can Help
We are grateful to our donors whose support has given UMass Memorial Health Care the strength to care for our patients and to respond to the needs of our community in challenging times.
Our community has generously contributed $1.7 million in gifts and pledges, more than 1.1 million items of protective equipment like masks and face shields, and countless food and treats to fuel us in this fight.
As we enter this next phase of the pandemic, we still need greatly the support of our community.

If you would still like to make an in-kind gift, we are still collecting some hard-to-purchase items of PPE for our caregivers and new and unopened craft supplies and toys for our Children’s Medical Center.
Needed Supplies (updated May 26)
- Masks (both surgical and N95 masks)
- Protective medical gowns and other protective clothing
- Eye protection (both face/splash shields and lenses/safety goggles)
- Medical grade disinfecting wipes
Thank you for your generosity in helping our caregivers and patients!
Please note: Latex Balloons No Longer Allowed at Medical Center
Due to allergic reactions to latex and the possible choking hazard for our pediatric patients, these balloons are no longer allowed. Mylar balloons are acceptable to bring into the hospital.
