Free Public Town Hall on Adolescent Substance Abuse

WHAT:           Hear from adolescents who are recovering from substance abuse

WHEN:           Thursday, July 26, 4 to 5:30 pm.

WHERE:         Tri-River Family Health Center, 281 E. Hartford Ave, Uxbridge

WHY:             In Massachusetts from 2013 to 2014, opioids accounted for more than a quarter of all fatalities in the 18 to 24 age group.

                      With individuals ages 25 to 34, opioids were responsible for more than a third of all deaths, rising to more than 40 percent for men in the group.

                      Join us as we focus on opiates, substances use, and its impact on adolescents and young adults. Learn from a panel of recovering young adults as they discuss                            experiences and treatment options with physicians and social work clinicians and answer questions from the attendees.
