You can make your gift in someone’s honor or memory through our secure online web page or you can mail your check (payable to UMass Memorial) to the Office of Philanthropy at UMass Memorial.
Gifts in Memory
When a loved one passes away, a family may decide to direct memorial gifts to UMass Memorial Medical Center. These gifts can be designated as the family wishes: unrestricted support for either institution or restricted support for a specific center, program or physician.
If you and your family decide to direct gifts in memory of a loved one to UMass Memorial, please contact us by email (give@umassmemorial.org) with the name of the deceased, how the gifts should be designated, and the family contact information so we can notify your family when gifts are made.
Suggested Obituary Text
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of [deceased] may be made to UMass Memorial in support of [designation as determined by family]. Gifts can be made online at give.umassmemorial.org or mailed to:

Checks should be made out to “UMass Memorial -[designation]” and should note that the gift is in memory of [deceased].
