Recognizing a need for a local pediatric transplant program, UMass Memorial Medical Center launched its comprehensive pediatric kidney transplant program in 2011. Two years later in 2013, nine-year-old Jameson Laliberte became the first pediatric kidney transplant recipient at the Medical Center. Read Jameson's story.
