UMass Memorial Medical Center, UMass Memorial Medical Group, and Clinton Hospital recently transitioned to a new patient payment portal. You may pay your bill by entering your account number located on your statement along with your 5 digit billing zip code.

Patients receiving care at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Clinton Hospital or HealthAlliance Hospital receive a bill for hospital services, including charges related to an inpatient stay, Emergency Department visit, diagnostic testing and/or outpatient visits. This bill is marked with either the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Clinton Hospital or HealthAlliance logo and you can pay it securely online.
You may also receive a bill for physician services. If your physician is a private practice doctor seeing patients at the hospital, you will receive a bill directly from his/her office with payment instructions.
If your physician is a member of UMass Memorial Medical Group, the bill is marked with the UMass Memorial Medical Group logo and you can pay it securely online.
If we have complete information on your health insurance coverage, we first send the bill for your care to your insurer. However, you may have received a bill from us for deductibles, copays and services not covered by your insurance. You can call your insurance company directly with questions about its coverage. The telephone number is usually on your insurance card. (Note: Your insurance company may send you an “Explanation of Benefits,” which may look like a bill but in fact explains what your insurance has paid for.)
Save 20 Percent on Your Balance
When you pay your UMass Memorial Medical Center, Clinton Hospital, or UMass Memorial Medical Group bill within 14 days of receiving your first billing statement, we will automatically take 20 percent off your balance when you use our online payment system. If you choose not to make your payment online you can call our Patient Financial Services Department at 508-334-1840 or 1-800-225-8885 (weekdays, 9 am to 4:30 pm) as soon as you receive your first bill and our representatives will assist you with your prompt pay discount. (Note: Office visit copays are not eligible for the discount.)
At HealthAlliance Hospital, if you pay your bill within 30 days of receiving your first billing statement, a 20 percent discount may be available (excluding copays). Please call customer service, 978-870-1500, for more information. To learn more about pricing, email our Patient Billing Office.

Due to allergic reactions to latex and the possible choking hazard for our pediatric patients, these balloons are no longer allowed. Mylar balloons are acceptable to bring into the hospital.
