The Patient-centered Approach to Pancreatic Cancer
Our Cancer Center of Excellence offers free patient and family education programs on many types of cancer. The Patient-centered Approach to Pancreatic Cancer is held Monday, November 3, 5 to 8 pm, Faculty Conference Room, University Campus. You’ll learn about the disease from caregivers, researchers, survivors and families. The keynote address, “Palliative Care for the Pancreatic Cancer Patient” is presented by Laura Lambert, MD, surgical oncology and director, Peritoneal Carcinoma Center, UMass Memorial Medical Center; and assistant professor of surgery, UMass Medical School. This program is open to health care professionals.
