Online Diabetes Management System

If you’re struggling to manage your diabetes, UMass Memorial Medical Center can help. We’re proud to offer you MyCareTeam Clinical (MCT Clinical), an online diabetes management system that allows you and your diabetes care provider to maintain regular contact and better manage all of the information needed for the management of type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. We are the first health care provider in the United States to use this system.

How Online Diabetes Management Works

Our online diabetes management system lets you download your blood sugar levels, diet, calorie and carbohydrate counting from a meter at any location with a secure Internet site. Most meters work with MCT Clinical.

Once the data is gathered, it can be accessed, evaluated and closely monitored by you, the patient, and all members of your care team. This tool allows you and your care team to come up with new strategies to improve your diabetes management and outcomes.
